Welcome to Historic Micanopy! Micanopy Florida is a scenic location for a fall arts and crafts festival.   Micanopy is the town that time forgot.  This quiet little town bustles with activity as the vendors pour into town and fill Cholokka Boulevard.  Many local artists, crafters, and musicians participate in the festival, as well as other artists from across the southeast. The tradition and ever evolving quality of the show attracts a broad range of the buying public.  Along with the two hundred displays of arts and crafts there are many other attractions.  The main stage plays host to a variety of good time music throughout the festival and an time auction of items donated by participating vendors on Saturday afternoon.

Welcome to
CEDAR LAKES WOODS & GARDENS
A century-old, abandoned lime rock quarry carefully transformed into a breathtaking 20-acre botanical garden in Williston, FL.The gardens are built into a lime rock quarry, and there is a steep ramp to access the lower levels. That said, we have some wonderful overlooks along the upper trail. It is not perfectly level throughout the entire trail: there are changes in elevation, and rocky and bumpy portions. Explore while becoming a citizen scientist! The Gardens are home to thousands of plants species, as well as birds, butterflies, insects and critters! We do have accessibility ramps to get onto the overlook trail that circles the quarry rim. This view offers scenery of the lakes and gardens beneath. The overlook trail has a few small inclines and an occasional patch of rugged surface, so accessibility is very much dependent on the design and size of the wheels on one's mobility scooter/wheelchair. Guests have visited with several different models and successfully ventured through the upper trail. While we do allow anyone to venture to the lower level of the gardens, we emphasize that strong help and confidence is needed to use this ramp with a wheelchair or similar mobile device. The restrooms are considered wheelchair accessible, as they were built more recently with wheelchairs and powerchairs in mind.
